Spring Equinox 30-Day Yoga Challenge

It’s easy.  It’s FREE.  And it’s fun!
Here’s how it works…

1.  Tell me you’d like to participate and I’ll send you an invitation to
our special Facebook group or simply visit the group and ask to join.

2.  Practice yoga for a minimum of 10 minutes every day for 30 days.

3.  Become eligible to win the grand prize: an 8″ NIX Digital Photo Frame!

A few more details…

The Spring Equinox 30-Day Yoga Challenge will begin (not surprisingly) on the Spring Equinox – Friday, March 20.  You’re welcome to join the Facebook group at any time before then.  Feel free to introduce yourself, ask questions, and get to know one another.Once the challenge officially begins on March 20, you’ll find a new pose prompt on the group site every day (offered by yours truly).  The pose prompt is there to fire up your imagination and get you started.  If you don’t recognize the pose suggested for that particular day, then spend a little time researching it online before trying it.  Your combined effort of research and practice will count toward your 10-minute minimum.

If you’d rather attend a class, book a private, do some other yoga practice at home, meditate, or engage in pranayama (breathwork), that’s fine, too.  The only rule is that you practice some aspect of yoga for at least 10 minutes per day for each of 30 days.

When you’re finished practicing if you’d like to post about your yoga experience, we’d love to hear from you!  The community will be made richer and more vibrant if we’re all actively contributing.  That being said, however, what and how much you share is entirely up to you.

At the end of the 30-day Yoga Challenge, a winner will be selected at random from those who have successfully met the requirements.  Whether you qualify to win the prize will be based upon the honor system. Satya (truthfulness) is, after all, one of the tenets of yoga.

That’s it!  Simply join the group to get started and I’ll see you on the mat this Spring!

When I sat down to post this to my blog, I realized how long it’s been since my last blog entry.  Hopefully, the Spring Equinox and this challenge will also spur me to write more regularly here.  If you’re still reading, I appreciate it!
